I have never once written a cheque. I am 24, I grew up in Stoney Creek, and for my entire adult life moving money has meant opening a banking app and sending an e-Transfer. That is not a boast, it is the reason I ended up doing this — when I started playing at online casinos I assumed Interac would work the way it does everywhere else in my life, and it mostly does not.
The first site I deposited at listed Interac in its cashier. What actually happened was a redirect to a third-party processor I had never heard of, a separate account, and a withdrawal that came back as a cheque by post. Not a scam — all disclosed somewhere — but nothing like what the little Interac logo on the deposit page had led me to expect.
So I started opening accounts properly and writing down what each cashier actually does: whether the deposit is a real e-Transfer or a processor wearing Interac's name, what the withdrawal comes back as, and how long the money sat in limbo. I went to Mohawk College for business marketing and spend more time than is healthy reading terms pages. My bias, up front: I care far more about how a cashier behaves than how big a bonus is, and I will rank a small clean offer above a huge one every time.
For every site here I register, complete identity verification the same day, and deposit my own money by Interac e-Transfer where the cashier offers it. I record exactly what the deposit flow does — a genuine e-Transfer to an email address, or a redirect to iDebit, InstaDebit or another processor — because those are different products sharing one logo. Then I read the bonus terms before playing and note the wagering multiple, whether it applies to bonus or deposit-plus-bonus, the max bet while a bonus is live, and any cap on withdrawals. Finally I cash out and write down what came back and whether the cashier asked for documents it had not asked for at signup.
Withdrawal times in hours, because that number belongs to your bank as much as to the operator. Ratings out of ten, because they turn an argument into a scoreboard and stop people reading the argument. And any licence number I have not looked up myself on the register of the authority that supposedly issued it.
If something here is wrong or has gone stale, tell me at info@interaccasinoscanada.com. Reports about withdrawals are the most valuable messages I get.
